This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist the Department of Health and Human Services Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Unified Case Management.
• Leverage Spark and AWS Cloud technologies, including data retrieval from S3 and PostgreSQL, as well as configuring notification triggers and Step Functions.
• Create and execute cloud-based Business Intelligence and data reporting solutions utilizing AWS.
• Construct data pipelines and workflows that integrate various sources into a unified BI platform.
• Enhance BI solutions for optimal performance, scalability, and user experience.
• Implement performance tuning in large data environments and apply AWS IAM principles.
• Develop and manage reports using SAP BusinessObjects and Power BI.
• Utilize knowledge of data warehousing, ETL processes, and SQL scripting.
• Guarantee the accuracy of data and the quality of visualization designs.
• Travel required is less than 10%.
• A Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
• At least 4 years of relevant experience is required.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience with Spark is essential.
• 3 years of experience with AWS services is necessary.
• Proven experience in constructing complex workflows for data movement.
• Development of Business Intelligence reports using Business Objects (BO) and Power BI is expected.
• Experience in performance tuning within big data environments is required.
• Familiarity with AWS IAM concepts is necessary.
• Experience with Big Data technologies such as S3, Snowflake, and Databricks is preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills are important, including the ability to present to all levels of leadership.
• Effective problem-solving skills are a must.
• Experience in an Agile framework is advantageous.
• A CMS background check will be required.
• Candidates must have resided in the U.S. for at least three of the last five years to qualify for and maintain a Public Trust.
• Work visa sponsorship is not available.
• Must be available during core hours, Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm EST.
• Preferred: Experience with Scala and Python.
• Preferred: Previous experience in a CMS environment dealing with Fraud, Waste & Abuse (FWA) data.
