
Renewals Account Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take charge of the complete renewals process: monitor upcoming renewals, facilitate renewal discussions, negotiate terms, and ensure timely closures.
• Create the renewals workflow from the ground up: establish renewal timelines, escalation procedures, risk indicators, and a schedule for engaging with customers prior to their renewal date.
• Design and oversee renewal reporting and forecasting: develop models and dashboards that reflect renewal rates, at-risk revenue, gross/net retention, and forecast accuracy, and present these to leadership.
• Create an early-warning system to identify at-risk accounts and collaborate with Customer Success (CS) to take action before any potential churn.
• Ensure renewal data hygiene within the CRM to guarantee accurate tracking of renewals and trustworthy reporting.
• Highlight trends from renewal results to guide pricing, packaging, and product strategy.
• Collaborate across departments with CS and Finance to align on retention goals and processes.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in renewals, account management, or a similar post-sale revenue role within B2B SaaS.
• Proven experience in building reporting and forecasting from scratch—not merely executing existing processes, but designing the metrics, models, and timelines.
• Proficient in spreadsheets and CRM tools (e.g., Pylon, HubSpot); adept at transforming disorganized data into clean, dependable reports.
• A strong history of achieving retention or renewal goals.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and working autonomously: you excel when there isn’t a predefined playbook and are enthusiastic about establishing order where none exists.
• Strong negotiation skills and commercial acumen; capable of maintaining value while fostering healthy customer relationships.
• Excellent communicator capable of credibly presenting renewal forecasts and risks to leadership and key stakeholders.
