• Interact with customers and partners to renew subscription and support revenue streams.
• Lead the negotiation of renewal contracts and ensure timely booking of agreements.
• Comprehend and consistently implement Accela’s sales and renewal processes, policies, and approval protocols.
• Create renewal quotes and maintain precise customer and contract information in Salesforce CPQ.
• Utilize AI tools to draft, enhance, and customize renewal communications, ensuring clarity, professionalism, and adherence to timelines.
• Proactively identify renewal risks by analyzing customer engagement signals, contract complexity, and historical trends; escalate potential risks promptly and appropriately.
• Uphold disciplined renewal management practices to foster accurate forecasting and predictable outcomes.
• Drive renewals to completion within established timeframes and clearly communicate risks, delays, or dependencies to stakeholders.
• Support cross-sell and upsell opportunities and collaborate with the field sales team to generate additional revenue.
• Achieve or surpass renewal targets.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in Renewal Account Management or a similar role, with a proven track record of independently managing renewal execution, timelines, and results.
• Demonstrated capability to handle multiple renewals simultaneously while maintaining appropriate timelines and prioritization.
• Exceptional attention to detail and analytical abilities, with the skill to accurately interpret contract terms, verify pricing, and uphold reliable renewal data.
• Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Proven experience in forecasting renewal outcomes, early identification of renewal risks, and proactive communication of potential delays or dependencies.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with experience working closely with Sales, Customer Success, Finance, and Legal teams to drive renewals to completion.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with shifting priorities while maintaining accountability for results.
• Familiarity with CRM and quoting tools for managing renewal data and execution, including Salesforce, CPQ tools, NetSuite, Clari, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
