Remarketing Auction Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nevada.

📋 Description

• Oversee and evaluate vendor performance, ensuring compliance with company standards.

• Manage the inventory of regional repossessed vehicles, including tracking transport status, conducting certification inspections, grading vehicles, estimating reconditioning costs, preparing for sales, and approving sale bids.

• Perform on-site assessments of auction processes, inventory readiness, and the effectiveness of sales.

• Arrange status meetings with vendors and auction management along with the relevant staff.

• Analyze scorecards and reports, coordinating necessary follow-ups on performance issues.

• Negotiate arbitration claims with guidance from senior management.

• Identify and capitalize on market arbitrage opportunities.

• Audit auction-related expenses and announcements.

• Maintain and report travel expenses in line with company policies.

• Optimize net recovery through the prompt, efficient, and compliant preparation and sale of repossessed inventory.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in vehicle valuation, reconditioning evaluation, and wholesale remarketing channels.

• Knowledge of macro and regional socio-economic activities, seasonality, and essential automotive trends concerning used vehicle pricing.

• Capacity to work independently under time constraints and manage competing deadlines.

• Highly detail-oriented with exceptional organizational abilities.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills that are professional and effective.

• Adaptability to job functions and ability to embrace procedural changes.

• Competent PC skills with the ability to navigate multiple platforms.

• Familiarity with NAAA auction policies is highly preferred.

• Experience in frame assessments or condition report writing is advantageous.

• A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent college experience is preferred.

• A minimum of 5 years related experience in the automotive or remarketing industry is required.

• Proficient in Daybreak, AutoIMS, RDN, Manheim Market Report, CSAToday, web-based applications, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• Must adhere to relevant company policies and comply with state and federal regulations.
