Release Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Plan and oversee software releases to guarantee smooth deployment across various environments.

• Establish and execute release management processes to ensure consistency and efficiency.

• Collaborate closely with development, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders to schedule, coordinate, and communicate releases.

• Identify and address risks and dependencies related to releases.

• Maintain comprehensive release documentation, including release notes, schedules, and rollback plans.

• Ensure adherence to change management policies and regulatory requirements.

• Automate and enhance deployment and release processes whenever feasible.

• Monitor and resolve release-related issues, coordinating solutions with relevant teams.

• Conduct post-release evaluations to drive continuous improvements.

• Ensure a unified and synchronized workflow across the team to facilitate successful release deployments.

• Collaborate with the team and other release managers to maintain a cohesive and synchronized workflow.

• Participate in and support UAT testing to ensure the quality of releases.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in Service Now is mandatory.

• Familiarity with JIRA Scrum/Kanban - Agile workflow methodologies and Confluence is preferred.

• Expertise in release management tools is crucial (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Jira, GitLab CI/CD).

• Experience in release management or DevOps is essential.

• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, version control (e.g., Git), and deployment automation tools.

• Familiarity with Microsoft technologies (SQL, etc.) is advantageous.

• Experience with SAP CPI is a plus.

• Prior experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is beneficial.

• Exceptional problem-solving, organizational, and communication abilities.

• Capability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
