This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ You will serve as the main point of contact for a portfolio of retirement plan clients and their financial advisors.
β’ Cultivate and manage relationships for your designated clients and advisors β they will reach out to you first.
β’ Conduct consultation calls with clients, auditors, and advisors regarding intricate plan issues.
β’ Offer technical and compliance advice with assurance and precision.
β’ Proactively address issues β when ERISA expertise is required, engage Plan Consultants as a strategic ally.
β’ Oversee all deliverables and timelines for annual plan compliance across a diverse portfolio of business.
β’ Prepare census requests, contribution summaries, and refund documentation.
β’ Identify and notify about late deposits and minimum distribution requirements.
β’ Manage annual projects β including force-outs, annual notifications, and recordkeeper disclosures.
β’ Handle distributions, corrections, and complex transitions of plans.
β’ Collaborate with actuaries, plan consultants, and internal teams on inquiries regarding plan design and compliance.
β’ Act as a key resource, mentor, and trainer for members of the Relationship Manager I team.
β’ Take on the team lead's responsibilities when necessary, ensuring operations remain smooth and decisions are well-informed.
β’ Engage actively in cross-functional meetings and firm-wide projects.
β’ Maintain precise and current client records in PensionPro.
β’ Update internal workflow systems to accurately reflect client activities.
β’ Work alongside Finance on billing and accounts receivable.
β’ Assist with onboarding, conversions, and comprehensive plan terminations.
β’ Over 3 years of experience in retirement plan administration or client services.
β’ Strong understanding of defined contribution plan compliance β including ERISA, DOL, and IRS regulations.
β’ Proficient in retirement plan software such as PensionPro, Datair, FTW, or ASC.
β’ Excellent communication abilities β with clients, advisors, auditors, and team members.
β’ Capacity to manage a complex and rapidly changing portfolio without overlooking details.
