This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +1 more state.
• Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with Customers.
• Demonstrate strategic relationship management and consultative selling techniques.
• Enhance Customer satisfaction and loyalty by aligning their objectives with the business targets of Manulife John Hancock.
• Act as a Customer advocate and serve as an industry authority.
• Contribute significantly to the wider Strategic Relationship Management team and the John Hancock organization.
• Meet all annual performance metrics, including retention, customer profitability, and engagement.
• Acquire knowledge about Manulife John Hancock Retirement products, features, and services and apply this knowledge as necessary.
• Manage both internal and external customer relationships effectively while utilizing available resources.
• Utilize consultative selling and negotiation skills to enhance product features, plan design, and employee retirement readiness.
• Exhibit executive presence and subject matter expertise to build confidence and strategically influence outcomes that align with both Customer and Manulife John Hancock objectives.
• Adhere to all company and departmental processes and protocols, including preparation of meeting materials, presentation formats, travel and expense management, CRM documentation, and data integrity.
• Assist in new sales and market development initiatives.
• A valid Driver’s License is required.
• Possession of FINRA Series 6 or 7, and 63 or 66, along with State Insurance licensing, or the capability to obtain the necessary licenses within 6 months.
• Experience in retirement planning, financial services, or institutional relationship management.
• Demonstrated success in managing strategic or complex customer accounts.
• Proven experience in influencing senior-level customers and internal stakeholders.
• Knowledge of retirement plan design and employee financial wellness strategies.
• Capacity to formulate strategies, establish goals, and adapt effectively in dynamic environments.
• Demonstrated initiative, motivation, accountability, and resilience in changing conditions.
• Strong consultative selling and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to analyze intricate customer relationships and implement strategies to achieve goals.
• Solid business acumen, executive presence, and communication skills.
• Proven track record of building rapport and collaborating effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
