• Identify new clients and lending prospects through direct borrower relationships, brokers, realtors, and various groups within the real estate sector.
• Attend and represent CoreVest in a professional manner at conferences and industry gatherings.
• Actively reach out to both potential and existing clients via phone calls, emails, and face-to-face meetings.
• Assess the advantages and risks associated with potential credit line and term loan transactions.
• Create term sheets and summary analyses for prospective transactions.
• Conduct cash flow-based underwriting for term loans, along with narratives and conclusions regarding the viability of potential transactions.
• Occasionally produce concise and relevant marketing blogs sponsored by CoreVest.
• Achieve or surpass quarterly and annual individual production goals.
• Consistently log customer interactions within CoreVest's Salesforce CRM platform.
• Provide support to underwriting and other team members as required.
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: commercial banking, specialty finance, or residential and commercial loan originations.
• Must possess experience in Business Purpose Lending (RTL and/or DSCR).
• A hands-on approach with a proven record of achieving results.
• Outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building capabilities.
• Strong financial acumen with analytical and numerical skills.
• Proficiency in Excel, other Office products (or equivalents), and CRM platforms (preferably Salesforce).
• Ability to balance self-sufficiency and personal initiative within a collaborative team environment.
