This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.
• Identify new clients and lending prospects through direct relationships with borrowers, brokers, realtors, and various groups within the real estate sector.
• Attend and represent CoreVest in a professional manner at industry conferences and events.
• Reach out to potential and existing customers proactively via phone calls, emails, and face-to-face meetings.
• Assess the advantages and risks associated with potential credit line and term loan transactions.
• Draft term sheets and summarize analyses for potential transactions.
• Conduct cash flow-based underwriting for term loans, including narratives and conclusions on the viability of potential transactions.
• Occasionally create brief and relevant marketing blogs sponsored by CoreVest.
• Achieve or surpass individual production targets on a quarterly and annual basis.
• Consistently record customer interactions in CoreVest's Salesforce CRM platform.
• Provide assistance to underwriting and other members of the deal team as necessary.
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• 2 years of experience in commercial banking, specialty finance, or residential and commercial loan origination.
• Experience in Business Purpose Lending (RTL and/or DSCR) is required.
• A proactive approach with a proven track record of achieving results.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships.
• Strong financial acumen with proficiency in analytical and numerical tasks.
• Proficient in Excel, other Office applications (or equivalents), and CRM platforms (preferably Salesforce).
• Ability to balance self-motivation and individual initiative within a team-oriented environment.
