This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Serve as the Team Lead for all Reimbursement Specialists within the program, providing them with necessary resources.
• Maintain daily and ongoing communication with the Program Manager and Associate Program Manager regarding both new and existing projects.
• Continuously assess internal reimbursement processes for improvement.
• Develop and maintain reimbursement processes and protocols as assigned by the Program Manager and Associate Program Manager.
• Implement processes and protocols in collaboration with the Program Manager and Associate Program Manager.
• Execute departmental KPIs as directed by the Program Manager and Associate Program Manager.
• Monitor departmental KPI activities, providing reports to the Program Manager and Associate Program Manager.
• Responsible for closing manager schedules and shifts.
• Oversee and manage all necessary aspects to secure prescription drug coverage for patients.
• Liaise with insurance companies, physician offices, and healthcare professionals to enhance reimbursement solutions.
• Organize documents, submissions, and all relevant paperwork for insurance companies and public/federal funding programs.
• Implement Financial Means Tests as needed to optimize patients' prescription drug coverage.
• Coordinate pharmacy processes after funding has been secured.
• Acquire an in-depth understanding of public, private, and federal funding mechanisms.
• Responsible for reporting all Adverse Events to the appropriate units and departments.
• At least 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare-related industries.
• Project management experience is advantageous.
• Bilingual proficiency in French and English is mandatory.
• Advanced knowledge of the pharmaceutical distribution industry.
• Strong business and financial acumen.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written forms.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities.
• Effective organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
