This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Assist the HSE inspection team in evaluating compliance with legal obligations, Petrobras standards, the SMS Annex, and the adherence of contracted companies' HSE management systems concerning sanitary conditions, health services, and food services at maritime and/or operational facilities;
• Detect and assess health risks, including hazardous conditions, inadequate hygiene, food contamination, and other related issues;
• Provide guidance to the HSE inspection support team on necessary actions to ensure sanitary measures and adherence to regulations;
• Draft expert analyses, technical opinions, and reports based on sanitary and health inspections conducted;
• Organize, plan, and/or engage in educational initiatives and awareness campaigns promoting sound sanitary and health practices;
• Supervise sanitary interdictions, ensuring compliance with established corrective actions;
• Keep the HSE management informed about current sanitary and health legislation and best practices associated with the field;
• Collaborate with health professionals and regulatory bodies to advance health and sanitary control;
• Aid HSE inspection in critically analyzing documents pertinent to or related to the health domain, such as PCMSO (Occupational Health Medical Control Program), PGRSS (Healthcare Waste Management Plan), PGR (Risk Management Plan), Ergonomic Reports, and others;
• Evaluate occupational health programs and sanitary risk prevention strategies thoroughly;
• Establish inspection routines;
• Attend management review meetings to assess audit results, inspections, and oversight activities to identify systemic conditions and propose/implement corrective measures;
• Oversee the execution of local action plans, facilitating necessary adjustments in collaboration with the involved operational management.
• At least 4 (four) years of demonstrated experience in sanitary surveillance/inspection;
• Understanding of relevant sanitary laws, regulations, and standards at both national and local levels;
• Acquaintance with principles of effective sanitary surveillance practices and quality control;
• Proficient in techniques and methods for sanitary inspection, oversight, and monitoring;
• Capability to analyze and interpret technical reports, opinions, and documents pertaining to sanitary surveillance;
• Knowledge of best hygiene practices, food handling, and infection control;
• Familiarity with sampling techniques and laboratory analyses related to food safety and quality, as well as health services.
