Mid-Level Privacy and Data Protection Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Manage data subject requests, including access and deletion requests, by analyzing each case in line with Brazil’s General Data Protection Law (LGPD) and internal protocols.

• Oversee the necessary actions to fulfill requests, which involves documenting cases and responding to data subjects.

• Conduct and maintain a current mapping of the company’s personal data.

• Assist in conducting interviews with leaders and business teams to gain insights into data flows and processing activities.

• Record and track data processing activities and their corresponding actions in the ROPA.

• Provide support to business teams regarding privacy and data protection issues.

• Aid in assessing risks associated with the processing of personal data.

• Contribute to the development and improvement of privacy processes, controls, and tools.

• Utilize and enhance Privacy Management and data privacy protection tools.

• Support the growth of Cartpanda’s privacy program, ensuring its controls and processes become increasingly active and integrated into operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven professional experience with Brazil’s LGPD and personal data protection, encompassing work on privacy programs, data subject requests, data mapping and processing activities, risk assessments, and support for business teams.

• Familiarity with Privacy Management tools or platforms.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Intermediate proficiency in English, especially in reading and writing.

• Knowledge of or experience with GDPR is advantageous.

• Experience in technology, fintech, payments, or financial services is beneficial.

• Background in environments handling large volumes of personal or sensitive data is a plus.

• A law degree is a plus.

• A reliable internet connection and a suitable computer for work are essential for this remote position.
