This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop scenarios that encompass the design of regulatory compliance programs, agency investigations, enforcement actions, and the processes of rulemaking or commenting.

• Create tasks spanning various areas of regulation including financial services, healthcare and FDA regulations, antitrust and competition law, data privacy and cybersecurity, as well as environmental and energy regulations.

• Formulate scenarios that involve regulatory tracking platforms, compliance management systems, and agency filing systems employed across different regulated sectors.

• Utilize methodologies in regulatory law such as regulatory interpretation, compliance risk assessment, and strategies for enforcement response.

• Generate reference compliance memoranda, regulatory submissions, and documents responding to enforcement for both US and international regulatory frameworks.

• Draft rubrics that differentiate genuine regulatory judgment from standard law school or bar exam-level knowledge.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a regulatory attorney or compliance counsel in a prominent law firm, regulated entity, or governmental agency.

• Direct responsibility for regulatory compliance programs, agency interactions, or enforcement issues.

• Proficiency in regulatory tools and technologies.

• Comprehension of administrative processes and the agency rulemaking procedure.

• A recognized professional credential is highly preferred (such as a JD with bar admission or an equivalent international qualification).

• Previous authorship of rubrics, training materials, or compliance documentation is an advantage.
