Registered Nurse

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Evaluate OASIS assessments for thoroughness, suitability, and adherence to federal and state regulations.

• Ensure the precise ICD-10 coding and sequencing according to each patient's medical conditions and co-morbidities.

• Collaborate with clinical staff to address documentation and data integrity concerns.

• Oversee visit utilization and identify potential financial risks or underutilization for clinical management's attention.

• Recognize and convey trends that affect agency outcomes and process measures.

• Conduct OASIS inter-rater reliability assessments alongside clinical team members.

• Engage in Quality Improvement and Corporate Compliance initiatives.

• Keep updated with best practices through continuous education and professional growth.

• Carry out additional responsibilities as necessary for patient services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid Californian RN license in good standing.

• 1–2 years of experience in clinical home health care.

• Familiarity with OASIS assessments and ICD-10 coding.

• Understanding of federal regulations and state licensure prerequisites.

• Excellent communication abilities and strong attention to detail.

• Capacity to work independently and manage priorities with minimal oversight.

• Proficient in computer systems and electronic health records.

• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.

• Valid driver's license and reliable, insured vehicle.

• OASIS certification (COS-C) is a plus.

• OASIS Home Health ICD-10 coding certification is a plus.
