Registered Nurse – Aged Care, Home Care

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Deliver comprehensive clinical and personal care to elderly clients in their residences.

• Provide care customized to meet each client's specific requirements.

• Create personalized care plans utilizing clinical expertise.

• Administer wound care as needed.

• Assist clients with medical devices, such as catheters and continence aids.

• Extend social and emotional support to clients.

• Travel among clients throughout South West Sydney.

• Ensure that clients' care needs are addressed with empathy and professionalism.

⛳️ Requirements

• Ideally, have experience in Aged Care or Community Home Care.

• Possess excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Hold a Registered Nurse qualification with current AHPRA registration.

• Completion and validity of First Aid (HLTAID011).

• Ability to provide Basic Emergency Life Support (HLTAID010), including Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009).

• Maintain up-to-date COVID vaccinations and Flu vaccine, or be willing to obtain them.

• Hold a current driver’s license.

• Have access to a reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance.

• Willingness to travel between appointments is essential.

• National Police Clearance, or willingness to secure one.

• Commitment to assisting older Australians in living independently at home.
