Registered Dietitian, Telehealth

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Deliver comprehensive nutritional therapy and weight management coaching through an integrated multichannel digital platform, utilizing video, voice, and instant messaging.

• Perform virtual consultations to evaluate nutritional requirements and develop tailored behavior change strategies.

• Offer medication management assistance for obesity-related comorbidities under the guidance of designated physicians.

• Engage in remote patient monitoring using digital tools (such as scales, blood glucose meters, and blood pressure monitors).

• Aid patients with the dosing and titration of anti-obesity medications in accordance with established protocols.

• Employ motivational interviewing and therapeutic alliance techniques to foster sustainable health outcomes.

• Ensure accurate client records and documentation are maintained promptly using EHR systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related discipline from an accredited institution.

• Registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.

• Current state licensure/certification (if required by the state).

• Willingness and capacity to acquire additional state licenses as necessary.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in outpatient or weight management environments is preferred.

• Proficient with technology, electronic medical records, and capable of operating in a HIPAA-compliant home setting.

• CDCES certification (Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist) is preferred.

• Availability during evenings and Saturdays is preferred.
