Registered Dietitian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Provide tailored nutrition therapy consultations through telehealth platforms.

• Implement evidence-based clinical protocols to offer highly personalized nutrition support.

• Track patient progress and make necessary adjustments to assist them in achieving their goals and enhancing clinical outcomes.

• Maintain high patient retention rates by adhering to evidence-based clinical program standards.

• Collaborate with essential members of the care team.

• Utilize meal planning tools that facilitate patient compliance and the execution of care plans.

• Attend clinical rounds with partner practices and their care teams as required.

• Engage in quarterly RD group meetings and monthly one-on-ones with the CNM.

• Assist patients in implementing lifestyle changes.

• Build and nurture relationships with patients and/or caregivers to foster trust.

• Exhibit empathy towards each patient or caregiver.

• Record clinical information in an Electronic Medical Record.

• Transition smoothly between patients and adhere to operational procedures in line with clinical programming.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition or Dietetics.

• Completion of an Accredited Dietetic Internship.

• Credentialed by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).

• At least 1-2 years of nutrition experience following internship completion.

• Experience providing virtual counseling to patients or in an outpatient environment.

• Proficiency in managing patients with gastrointestinal conditions such as IBD, IBS, fatty liver, celiac disease, etc.

• Ability to educate patients with complex chronic conditions, including diabetes and kidney disease.

• State licensure preferred in Tennessee, Illinois, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, or Texas.
