Registered Dietitian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.

📋 Description

• Delivers medical case management services as part of the Kentucky HIV/AIDS Care Coordination Program (KHCCP)

• Conducts nutrition evaluations with clients and identifies nutritional diagnoses

• Engages with patients who have nutritional requirements based on their clinical assessments, offering counseling, recommendations, and resources

• Creates personalized plans and objectives for nutrition interventions and therapies tailored to clients

• Advocates for improved nutrition by discussing dietary habits and the connection between healthy eating and managing HIV/AIDS and other related health concerns

• Assesses the effectiveness of medical nutrition therapy interventions and tracks progress toward desired outcomes, making adjustments as necessary

• Employs assessment and evaluation methods that take into account the diverse needs of age-specific groups, along with cultural, religious, and ethnic considerations

• Links HIV-positive individuals with essential services provided by Federal, State, and Local community programs

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in human nutrition, food and nutrition, dietetics, food systems management, or a closely related field

• Registered Dietitian (RD) credentialed through the Commission on Dietitian Registration (CDR) of the American Dietetic Association (ADA)

• Licensed as a dietitian by the Kentucky and Indiana Board of Licensure and Certification for Dietitians and Nutritionists

• Experience in a nonprofit organization or a strong aspiration to work in a service-oriented environment

• Complete dedication to the mission, vision, and values of Matthew 25

• Must successfully pass a drug screening and background check
