This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop, implement, and enhance registered apprenticeship programs within the healthcare sector.
• Collaborate with labor-management organizations, unions, employers, educational institutions, workforce boards, and various stakeholders.
• Conduct informational sessions in diverse formats for stakeholders.
• Organize and execute a minimum of 5 meetings for 10 or more stakeholders interested in Registered Apprenticeship Programs.
• Recruit at least 25 employers to initiate or expand their registered apprenticeship programs.
• Identify occupations suitable for apprenticeships, establish standards, and facilitate the approval of those standards.
• Assist in the creation of multi-employer apprenticeship programs.
• Develop materials to support outreach for Registered Apprenticeship initiatives.
• Work in conjunction with H-CAP’s Data and Communications team on promotional and marketing activities.
• Monitor deliverables to ensure compliance with grant and contract requirements.
• Input accurate and timely information into tracking systems.
• Collect data and compose progress reports.
• Collaborate closely with H-CAP’s Registered Apprenticeship team, leadership, labor-management partners, and affiliated organizations.
• Primarily work remotely, with occasional travel to program sites or national events as necessary.
• Extensive knowledge and experience collaborating with healthcare employers and stakeholders on workforce development matters.
• Capability to engage with healthcare consortia, certifying agencies, industry associations, and related stakeholders.
• Familiarity with the healthcare sector and workforce development.
• Understanding of Registered Apprenticeship and the Registered Apprenticeship System.
• Experience in post-secondary education and adult learning programs.
• At least 5 years of experience in project management.
• Exceptional project coordination and organizational abilities.
• Capacity to work independently.
• Proven experience in a dynamic, multi-stakeholder setting.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability and comfort in presenting to diverse audiences in both virtual and in-person formats.
• Experience or familiarity with union or labor-management environments.
• Existing relationships with healthcare employers, industry associations, unions, labor-management organizations, workforce boards, and educational partners.
