This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• The focus will be on Core Administration Business-Process-As-A-Service (BPaaS), Ecosystem-Platform-As-A-Service (EPaaS), Health Rules Payer (HRP), and Provider Data Management (PDM) solutions for Health Plans and Health Insurance Payer accounts (Regional Health Plans).
• Assume a leadership role in overseeing the assigned account territory to strategize and execute sales initiatives aimed at establishing and nurturing relationships to meet annual quotas.
• Oversee all stages of the enterprise sales lifecycle, including business development, lead identification and qualification, sales strategy development, scope construction, proposal creation, client presentations, and contract negotiations.
• Utilize client relationships and a comprehensive understanding of clients’ commercial processes to ensure predictable deal execution in order to meet new logo revenue targets annually.
• Cultivate and apply an in-depth understanding of customer needs, industry trends, and business priorities, serving as a subject matter expert for both internal and external stakeholders to promote HealthEdge solutions and services.
• Facilitate the creation and presentation of customer-oriented demonstrations of HealthEdge solutions, collaborating closely with necessary resources and the sales support team as required.
• Manage the RFI/RFP process for all BPaaS, EPaaS, HRP, and PDM focused RFIs/RFPs within the designated territory.
• Demonstrate mastery of HealthEdge’s value proposition and align core offerings to create and present compelling sales proposals.
• Engage with all internal stakeholders necessary to secure sales, including product management, professional services, finance, and development teams when appropriate.
• Report on the status and activities of all sales pursuits weekly and ensure all opportunities are accurately reflected in SalesForce.com.
• Participate in all aspects of the HealthEdge sales team activities, including sales meetings, forecasting sessions, and company-wide events.
• Carry out all job responsibilities in accordance with HealthEdge policies and procedures, including those governing the handling of PHI and PII.
• A minimum of 10 years of sales experience.
• At least 5 years of experience selling to healthcare payors.
• A proven track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales quotas.
• Understanding of fundamental payer processes, including provider contracting, claims processing, and benefits administration.
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, along with relevant experience.
• Strong communication abilities.
• Proficient proposal writing skills and experience.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
• Proven experience in closing large payer transactions.
• Experience with deals greater than $5M in annual recurring revenue is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of payer core administrative systems is required.
• Some familiarity with related technical areas, including SOA, Web Services, payor interfaces (i.e., EDI), .NET, J2EE, and RDBMS, would be advantageous.
• Travel requirement exceeding 50%.
