This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Serve as the right-hand individual to the President in a COO role to enhance regional operational and business performance.
• Hold ultimate responsibility for the operational performance and outcomes within the region.
• Conduct extensive data analysis to evaluate, interpret, and influence business decisions and strategic directions.
• Develop and execute operational and growth strategies aimed at increasing profitability.
• Establish regional performance objectives and collaborate with the President to manage regional outcomes.
• Act as the Operations Center of Expertise.
• Oversee recruitment, hiring, and training processes for market operations leaders.
• Design, implement, and manage internal operational policies and procedures.
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and development for market leadership.
• Foster a positive culture, team cohesion, and employee retention throughout the region.
• Assist turnaround markets in collaboration with regional medical leadership.
• Collaborate with Client Partnerships and cross-functional teams to enhance efficiency and performance.
• Propel revenue growth, manage both labor and non-labor expenses, and minimize medical expenses in partnership with Finance/Med Econ.
• Implement and supervise strategic and operational projects, as well as new client launches.
• Evaluate operational and clinical performance against regional targets.
• Reduce performance variability across the region.
• Lead Market and support Regional Monthly Performance Reviews.
• Ensure financial stability and alignment with P&L.
• Strengthen relationships with community physicians.
• A Bachelor’s degree or a relevant combination of education and/or experience is required.
• At least 5 years of leadership experience in the healthcare sector.
• A minimum of 3 years of prior experience in Managed Care or Delegated Risk Partnerships.
• Proven track record in directing and motivating clinical staff and market leaders.
• Strong verbal, written, and visual communication skills are essential.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% within the designated market.
• An advanced degree, such as a master’s degree, MHA, or MBA, is preferred.
