
Regional VP β Business Development

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Overseeing the sales processes and annual performance objectives for Sound Physicians within the region, which includes leading all Business Development Committee Meetings, Acquisition Meetings, and Regional Business Development reviews.
β’ Establishing strong relationships and communication pathways with: 1) prospective hospital clients, focusing on fostering positive connections with senior executives at hospitals, and 2) both national and regional healthcare consultants.
β’ Assisting the Regional Teams (CMO and RVP) in identifying and developing sales opportunities.
β’ Collaborating to enhance Sound Physicians' messaging and presenting a unique narrative to prospective clients.
β’ Crafting a regional strategy, managing responses to all inquiries, RFPs, and bids, while personally overseeing specific opportunities.
β’ Formulating lead generation strategies (such as meetings, telemarketing, networking), evaluating all sales practices, and investments in personnel and sales activities.
β’ Working alongside the Business Development team to ensure effective messaging and to distinguish Sound Physicians' narrative.
β’ Bachelor's degree or equivalent knowledge and experience, focusing on finance, healthcare administration, or business administration.
β’ A minimum of ten years of progressively responsible experience in business development within clinical service delivery in a hospital or similar clinical services environment.
β’ Proven experience in crafting compelling RFPs.
β’ Experience in account management, developing vertical sales channels, and cultivating strong relationships with business partners.
β’ Proficiency in partner negotiations.
β’ Exceptional computer skills, including a strong command of spreadsheets (MS Excel), word processing (MS Word), creating professional presentations (MS PowerPoint and Visio), and email and calendar management (MS Outlook).
β’ Ability to swiftly adapt to a dynamic environment.
β’ Proven quantitative and analytical skills, along with solid critical thinking abilities.
β’ Excellent skills in active listening, time management, and both oral and written communication.
β’ Preferred familiarity with hospital, ancillary, and clinic operations, as well as core business and financial processes.
