This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Develop and implement business plans for your designated territory.
• Foster relationships with key personnel at channel partners that contribute to Pelco's success.
• Recognize and address customer challenges while recommending Pelco solutions.
• Cultivate new opportunities in collaboration with channel partners.
• Assist channel partners during visits to joint end-user customers.
• Provide training on Pelco products.
• Carry out product demonstrations.
• Relay essential information regarding new products, announcements, and promotions.
• Organize and support regional marketing events.
• Build and maintain a robust opportunity pipeline.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews and monthly pipeline assessments with channel partners.
• Deliver precise territory forecasts to sales leadership.
• Aid channel partners with quotations and proposals.
• Collaborate with Pelco colleagues, including Business Development Managers, Vertical Managers, Inside Sales, and Technical Sales Engineering.
• Achieve or surpass assigned revenue targets for the territory.
• Perform additional related tasks as required.
• A Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business field.
• Over 3 years of experience in security solutions sales.
• More than 3 years of customer-facing experience.
• Experience in physical security (hardware and/or software).
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as strong interpersonal abilities.
• Capability to work across various functions.
• Strong listening and presentation skills.
• Proven negotiation skills with the ability to finalize business deals while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Motivated, resourceful, and a self-starter with strong initiative.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Proficient knowledge of Salesforce.com.
• Established relationships and a proven track record with integrators and distributors.
• Experience in prospecting new business opportunities.
• Demonstrated history of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
• Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time.
