This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
β’ Inspire and lead a successful sales team within your assigned region.
β’ Provide each Account Executive with support and partnership in developing and implementing their annual sales business strategy.
β’ Act as a Subject Matter Expert for Account Executives by staying informed on mortgage products, underwriting standards, compliance, and policies/procedures.
β’ Actively mentor and cultivate Account Executives through continuous training and assistance in sales and marketing strategies, pipeline management, and system usage.
β’ Thoroughly train Account Executives in Third Party Originator (TPO) Sales by consistently promoting and reinforcing our established Professional Selling Program.
β’ Participate in field visits or conduct phone sales calls with current and prospective clients, providing constructive feedback to Account Executives.
β’ Ensure that Account Executives achieve their established sales targets by regularly monitoring and assessing sales activities, while emphasizing strengths and areas for development.
β’ Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas that require improvement.
β’ Continually look for opportunities to stay informed about trends and advancements in the real estate finance industry, as well as changes in mortgage regulations.
β’ Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, brokers, and other stakeholders in the mortgage industry.
β’ Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure effective communication and support.
β’ Regularly seek and attract top talent by sourcing candidates and highlighting the company's benefits and growth opportunities for aspiring high-performing Account Executives.
β’ Utilize a variety of sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, networking, and industry events, to identify potential candidates.
β’ Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales management within the mortgage lending industry, with at least 2 years in wholesale.
β’ Extensive knowledge of conventional, government, and non-agency mortgage products and their respective guidelines.
β’ Demonstrated leadership capabilities with strong organizational skills and a track record of achieving results. A motivating team player who communicates effectively and can confidently present and summarize information to all levels of management. Able to assess work priorities and adjust them as necessary.
β’ Thorough understanding of state and federal lending compliance and regulatory standards.
