This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Serve as the client-facing advisor lead supporting local financial advisory teams.
• Acquire and secure new clients with investable assets exceeding $500,000 through direct marketing channels.
• Collaborate closely with marketing to ensure precise presentation and effective tracking.
• Regularly maintain and update pitch decks and associated presentations.
• Differentiate WEG’s services and value proposition to generate revenue.
• Enhance assets under management.
• Educate clients on planning and investment topics through both individual and group presentations.
• Utilize WEG’s planning structure and model to finalize mid- and high-net-worth cases.
• Contribute to the growth of WEG’s local presence while upholding client service and retention standards.
• Proactively reach out to and qualify high-net-worth prospective clients via direct marketing channels.
• Meet with high-net-worth investors to assess their financial situations and needs.
• Communicate the benefits of partnering with a WEG Advisory team.
• Assist in the creation, delivery, execution, and management of complex financial plans and investment strategies.
• Collaborate with financial advisory teams to ensure continuous client service post-close and during transition.
• Over 7 years of business development or sales experience in the investment management and/or financial advisory industry.
• Proven ability to cultivate and manage client relationships.
• Preferred experience working with custodians like Schwab, Fidelity, or Scottrade.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related field.
• Strong expertise in financial advisory and wealth management.
• Successful history of acquiring referrals from personal networks and converting them into new business.
• Proficient sales skills, including consultative questioning, providing solutions, and securing follow-up actions.
• Demonstrated experience in strategic planning and sales.
• Willingness to travel independently within the assigned market regularly, up to 50% of the time.
• Familiarity with CRM systems; Salesforce experience preferred.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, listening, and analytical abilities.
• Proven time management and organizational skills in high-volume, energetic environments.
• FINRA Series 65 or 66 certification is required.
• CFP designation is preferred.
