This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Identify, prospect, and engage with national, regional, and mid-sized CPA firms (5+ CPAs) that align with the firm’s target client profile.
• Develop and implement targeted outreach strategies directed at CPA decision-makers, including Managing Partners, Tax Partners, and Advisory Leaders.
• Present and promote the firm’s referral program, highlighting client outcomes, revenue opportunities, and adherence to compliance standards.
• Conduct discovery meetings to evaluate strategic alignment and the potential for long-term partnerships.
• Establish enduring, trusted relationships with CPA firm leadership and key partners.
• Act as the main liaison between CPA firms and the internal advisory and leadership teams.
• Oversee the onboarding process and integration of new CPA partners into the referral ecosystem.
• Create joint business development initiatives and co-marketing opportunities.
• Collaborate with leadership to enhance the referral program's structure, messaging, and incentives.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on KPIs such as partner acquisition, referral flow, conversion rates, and revenue contributions.
• Identify trends within the accounting industry and adjust partnership strategies as needed.
• Ensure all referral agreements comply with SEC and state regulatory requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field.
• Over 10 years of experience in business development or strategic partnerships in financial services, RIA, asset management, CPA firms, or professional services.
• Proven track record in sourcing, closing, and expanding strategic partnerships.
• Strong knowledge of the RIA model and the wealth management industry.
• Experience in engaging with CPAs, accounting firms, or professional services organizations.
• Possession of FINRA licenses (Series 7/63/65/66) or a willingness to obtain them, if applicable.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
• Familiarity with Salesforce and Workday is preferred.
