This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +1 more state.
• Interact with prospective wealth management clients via Zoom, phone, and/or in-person meetings to comprehend their requirements and explain how Mercer can assist them.
• Utilize financial expertise along with organizational resources to provide unique value to each client, presenting a customized perspective on how Mercer can help them achieve their ambitions.
• Manage your sales pipeline throughout the entire process, converting and nurturing potential clients to ensure a top-tier experience for every prospective client.
• Function as a self-driven leader within a rapidly expanding and high-visibility sector of the organization, capitalizing on personal growth opportunities.
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Over 5 years of proven sales success in financial services.
• Series 65 or Series 66 license is mandatory unless you possess one of the following designations, which qualify for an exemption to the Series 65 in the relevant state(s): Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), Personal Financial Specialist (PFS), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), or Chartered Investment Consultant (CIC).
• CFP® (Certified Financial Planning) designation is preferred.
• Proficient in using CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and managing sales pipelines.
• Experience in building relationships and understanding the needs of prospective clients.
• Self-driven with a highly coachable attitude, possessing a growth-oriented mindset and motivation.
• Comprehensive understanding of the financial services industry and investment management.
• Strong desire to assist clients in reaching their financial objectives.
• Demonstrated time management and organizational skills in fast-paced, high-volume environments.
• Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
