This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Drive the identification of opportunities, strategic planning, and growth initiatives for 400 small market financial institution partners and over 600 self-directed financial institutions.

• Lead the creation and implementation of a digital-first strategy aimed at enhancing production and boosting performance within the small market and self-directed partner segments.

• Provide leadership and strategic guidance to a team that includes current small market account executives.

• Ensure that partner growth strategies, sales execution, and relationship management activities align with wider business objectives.

• Establish and manage functional partnerships across the organization to promote partner growth, strategic initiatives, and address customer needs.

• Spearhead talent management and development for direct reports, nurturing a culture of accountability, growth, and customer-centricity.

• Actively ensure adherence to the U.S. Bank Code of Ethics and all regulations regarding Anti-Money Laundering, the Bank Secrecy Act, information security, and suspicious activity reporting requirements, policies, and procedures.

• Participate actively in any necessary corporate and business line training related to these areas.

• Comply with account opening procedures and understand internal suspicious activity referral requirements and processes, as mandated for this position.

• Engage with customers to comprehend their normal account activities, as deemed appropriate for this role.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in the payments sector (credit card preferred).

• More than 3 years of management experience.

• BA/MBA in finance, accounting, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).

• Strong leadership skills and strategic management capabilities.

• In-depth knowledge of the payments industry, particularly credit cards.

• Ability to identify performance gaps, determine appropriate solutions, and effectively influence performance changes.

• Exceptional ability to operate within a team setting; highly collaborative.

• Well-developed verbal and written communication skills.

• Analytical mindset with a focus on research to drive actionable insights.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build partnerships.

• Extensive knowledge of financial services, credit, and sales management.

• Proven experience and credibility as a sales leader with robust relationship management skills.
