This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +8 more states.
• Propel revenue growth by establishing robust partnerships and identifying new business opportunities within the designated territory.
• Emphasize outside sales initiatives, manage CRM effectively, and collaborate with both internal and external teams to provide an outstanding customer experience.
• Utilize expertise in Tangent’s offerings and value proposition to enhance, develop, and expand both existing and new partnerships within targeted end-markets.
• Implement the strategic plan for the designated territory, with quarterly reviews alongside leadership.
• Interact with both existing and potential clients through a strategic account planning process; exhibit proficiency across all stages of the sales cycle, from lead generation and pipeline management to closing and customer retention.
• Establish and uphold a qualified opportunity pipeline that clearly outlines a pathway to achieving objectives.
• Track industry trends, competitive dynamics, new product developments, and market conditions to fortify the overall value proposition for customers.
• Create and deliver professional presentations of the company’s products and services to both current and prospective clients.
• Address customer concerns and collaborate with internal teams to resolve any challenges.
• A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• 2-5+ years of relevant professional experience, ideally with a focus on outside sales.
• Proven sales experience with active application and management of sales processes and tools.
• Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills, with the capability to work collaboratively and coordinate efforts to achieve objectives.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
• Ability to present to customer groups utilizing PowerPoint and other visual aids and handouts.
• Willingness and capacity to travel approximately 70% of the time.
