This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Promote Prometheus' products and services to healthcare providers, staff, and decision-makers involved in product usage.
• Enhance company profitability and sales revenue through knowledgeable, consultative selling, customer service, and product adoption.
• Meet sales objectives and contact goals within the assigned territory.
• Develop and execute communication and productivity plans for target customers.
• Utilize telephone, email, fax, and other outreach methods to arrange and conduct virtual sales presentations.
• Educate healthcare providers and staff on the value of products and services for patient care.
• Leverage company-approved materials, educational presentations, and product brochures to inform, communicate, and sell.
• Offer guidance on pricing and reimbursement; escalate specialized reimbursement inquiries to the appropriate personnel.
• Work in conjunction with Key Account Managers to optimize territory performance and customer access across institutions, labs, and draw sites.
• Clarify direct-bill account ordering, reporting, and billing processes.
• Keep accurate records of contacts and productivity while monitoring progress against sales and activity objectives.
• Input new customer information and update existing details in the company customer database.
• Represent the company at local, regional, and national trade shows, conferences, and exhibitions.
• Identify and address customer concerns, coordinating swift resolutions.
• Manage inbound calls routed from Client Customer Service and identify the best solutions.
• No supervisory responsibilities.
• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, preferably with a focus in the life sciences.
• At least 2 years of sales experience in pharmaceuticals, diagnostics, and/or other healthcare-related sales.
• Alternatively, a minimum of 1 year in related healthcare sales and 1 year in a life science discipline.
• An Associate’s degree in a science-related field may be accepted if combined with 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Exceptional presentation skills.
• Strong interpersonal, time management, and organizational abilities.
• Adaptable, open to change, and capable of working in uncertain situations.
• Proficient in using a mobile device, tablet, or computer for approximately 90% of a typical working day.
• Able to contribute proactively to a team environment while managing individual workloads and priorities independently.
• Capable of functioning effectively in a fast-paced, multi-tasking, entrepreneurial setting.
• Ability to operate a telephone and computer simultaneously.
• Competent in reading, analyzing, and interpreting scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
• Skilled in responding to inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, and the business community.
• Proficient in effectively presenting information to senior management and public groups.
• Able to perform calculations involving discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
• Knowledgeable in basic algebra and geometry.
• Capable of defining problems, gathering data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions.
• Able to interpret technical instructions in mathematical or diagrammatic form and analyze managed market strategies and contracting.
• Valid Driver's License with DMV proof of a clean driving record.
• Must adhere to applicable Company Fleet Management Program guidelines, including annual DMV reviews.
• Extensive ground, air, and overnight travel is required; occasional weekend travel or work may be necessary.
• Combination of remote communication and valuable in-person customer visits.
• Significant ground, air, and overnight travel (up to 75% depending on the business needs of the area).
