This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• You will proactively develop a new customer pipeline within the German mid-market (Mittelstand), focusing on ISV-based, integrated payment and software solutions (e.g., our Orderbird solution).
• As a dedicated hunter, you will identify opportunities, challenge existing setups, and manage the entire sales funnel until closing.
• You will transition acquired and activated customers in an organized manner to account management (farming/account management).
• Engage in proactive new customer acquisition within the mid-market (inbound/outbound, social prospecting, partner leads, events) with specific targets; building and sustaining a prioritized opportunity database.
• Utilize solution selling in the ISV context: you will create solid business cases that effectively illustrate the value of integrated solutions (e.g., process efficiency, payment acceptance, conversion/checkout, automation).
• Own the entire deal process: qualification, consulting, price/contract negotiation up to signature — including multi-stage proposals and stakeholder management.
• Oversee the complete deal cycle (Lead → Opportunity → Proposal → Closing) with precise CRM documentation, forecasting, and pipeline maintenance.
• Support go-live and onboarding: collaborate closely with technical and onboarding teams, and where necessary, partners to ensure seamless activation.
• Conduct market and competitive analysis: identify trends in integrated payment/software ecosystems and provide market insights to enhance our ISV strategy.
• Deliver presentations/demos (both remote and on-site), participate in trade shows/events, and engage with multipliers (ISVs, agencies, system integrators, industry networks).
• More than 3 years of B2B new-business sales experience (hunter role), preferably in payments/FinTech/SaaS/software sales or complex solution selling to mid-market companies.
• Demonstrated hunter track record: you actively build a pipeline, are focused on closing deals, and thrive on acquiring new customers.
• Basic technical literacy: you can discuss integrations (e.g., interfaces/APIs, system landscapes, onboarding, and implementation logic) and confidently engage both business and IT stakeholders.
• Structured outbound sales capabilities: prospecting, multi-threading, CRM funnel management, reliable forecasting; you work methodically and are persistent.
• Team-oriented in a matrix organization: you coordinate with stakeholders across sales, tech, onboarding, and partners while maintaining an action-oriented and autonomous approach.
• Proficient in negotiation-level German (native-level) and good English skills.
• Willingness to travel throughout Germany and possess a Class B driving license.
