This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +9 more states.
• Oversee and expand regional service sales orders for electrical substation equipment and service initiatives.
• Formulate and implement service sales account strategies to enhance installed base coverage and long-term service contracts.
• Cultivate customer relationships by comprehending operational needs, maintenance strategies, and relevant regulations.
• Discover service prospects through customer interactions, facility inspections, and reviews of the installed base.
• Organize service proposals, tender submissions, and follow-up actions in collaboration with internal teams and business units.
• Convert customer requirements and feedback into suitable service offerings and sales tactics.
• Lead and mentor a regional service sales team with an emphasis on engagement, performance, and safety practices.
• Utilize CRM and reporting tools to oversee sales activities, monitor opportunities, and ensure data integrity.
• Accountable for ensuring adherence to relevant external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
• Bachelor’s degree with at least 8+ years of experience in sales, sales support, and/or service related to power systems or solutions; or a Master’s degree with a minimum of 6+ years of experience in the same fields; or an Associate degree with no less than 10+ years of experience in sales, sales support, and/or service of power systems or solutions.
• A Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or technical field is preferred.
• Proven experience in managing or directing a service sales team.
• Background in working with electric substation equipment, such as transformers, switchgear, and circuit breakers, including customer-facing technical sales or solution presentations.
• Knowledge of operations and maintenance protocols for electric substation equipment and substation construction.
• Experience in substation construction and negotiating long-term substation service agreements.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
