This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +5 more states.
β’ Oversee direct account business operations.
β’ Manage accounts with a focus on foodservice distributors and end-users.
β’ Coordinate with local and regional distributors to effectively serve operators while maintaining high service standards.
β’ Facilitate quarterly, mid-year, and annual business review processes with current clients, ensuring consistent communication and follow-up on new business opportunities.
β’ Build strategic partnerships with end-user accounts.
β’ Maintain pricing agreements and renewals with local chain account customers.
β’ Drive business development initiatives for products with end-users through education, relationship building, and traditional selling techniques.
β’ Support existing business and seek new placement opportunities aimed at generating incremental growth through both direct and indirect sales activities.
β’ Advocate for the Roland Foods brand by conducting product demonstrations, trainings, targeted sampling, and engaging with end-users.
β’ Document all customer-related activities for ongoing reference, performance management, and future internal development.
β’ Organize and facilitate regional activities to promote the Roland Foods brand, including targeted promotional campaigns, distributor sales meetings, and training sessions.
β’ Participate in various national and regional trade shows as appropriate.
β’ Execute recipe development and menu brainstorming.
β’ Introduce new products, process sample requests, and conduct follow-ups.
β’ A minimum of 5 years of previous account or sales management experience.
β’ At least 5 years of experience in the food industry, specifically in hospitality and foodservice.
β’ Strong administrative and organizational capabilities with experience using a CRM program, preferably Salesforce.
β’ Excellent communication and presentation skills required for addressing groups of all sizes.
β’ Highly organized and detail-oriented, with robust technical writing skills required.
β’ Willingness to travel up to 50% required.
β’ This position is eligible for bonuses.
