This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +5 more states.
β’ Oversee direct account business operations.
β’ Manage direct accounts with an emphasis on foodservice distributors and end-users.
β’ Collaborate with local and regional distributors to effectively serve operators while maintaining high service standards.
β’ Conduct quarterly, mid-year, and annual business reviews with existing clients to ensure ongoing communication and follow-up on new business opportunities.
β’ Build strategic alliances with end-user accounts.
β’ Uphold pricing agreements and manage renewals with local chain account clients.
β’ Propel business development initiatives for products with end-users through education, relationship building, and traditional sales efforts.
β’ Assist in sustaining existing business while seeking new placement opportunities aimed at fostering incremental growth through direct and indirect selling activities.
β’ Advocate for and enhance the Roland Foods brand through product demonstrations, training sessions, targeted sampling, and engagement with end-users.
β’ Record all customer-related activities for ongoing reference, performance evaluation, and future internal development.
β’ Organize and lead regional activities to promote the Roland Foods brand, encompassing targeted promotional campaigns, distributor sales meetings, and training sessions.
β’ Attend various national and regional trade shows as applicable.
β’ Implement recipe development and menu ideation.
β’ Introduce new products, process sample requests, and conduct follow-ups.
β’ Minimum of 5 years of prior account/sales management experience.
β’ At least 5 years of experience in the food industry, particularly in hospitality and foodservice.
β’ Strong administrative and organizational skills, with experience in utilizing a CRM program, preferably Salesforce.
β’ Excellent communication and presentation abilities in front of diverse group sizes are essential.
β’ Detail-oriented and organized with robust technical writing skills required.
β’ Willingness to travel up to 50% is necessary.
β’ This position is eligible for bonuses.
