This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design and execute strategic sales strategies aimed at meeting and surpassing RCM sales goals within the designated region.
• Discover, evaluate, and secure new business prospects with large physician groups, health systems, and other pivotal healthcare entities.
• Oversee the complete sales process, from initial outreach and prospecting to proposal creation, negotiation, and contract finalization.
• Foster and sustain robust relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in target organizations.
• Conduct thorough needs assessments and deliver persuasive value propositions customized to address the unique RCM challenges and goals of potential clients.
• Collaborate intimately with internal departments, including RCM operations, product development, and marketing, to guarantee smooth client onboarding and ongoing satisfaction.
• Provide precise and timely sales forecasts and pipeline updates to management.
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitive dynamics, and regulatory shifts affecting the RCM market.
• Represent Modernizing Medicine at industry conferences, trade exhibitions, and various networking functions.
• Effectively utilize CRM tools to monitor sales activities, manage leads, and report progress.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 5 years of proven success in strategic sales within healthcare RCM, medical billing, or healthcare IT.
• Demonstrated history of consistently surpassing sales targets and closing substantial, intricate deals with strategic clients.
• In-depth knowledge of the healthcare revenue cycle, including front-end, mid-cycle, and back-end operations.
• Strong understanding of revenue cycle operations in physician practices, encompassing billing, coding, claims management, denials, accounts receivable, reimbursement, and payer interactions.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
• Capability to build rapport and establish trust with C-level executives and key stakeholders.
• Self-driven, results-focused, and capable of working independently in a dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willingness to travel domestically up to 25% of the time.
