This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Increase revenue and market presence throughout the Southern United States.
• Identify, assess, and convert new business prospects in targeted markets through proactive outreach, networking, and market analysis.
• Develop and sustain a robust sales pipeline through diligent CRM practices.
• Manage and enhance strategic client accounts via effective relationship management and consultative sales techniques.
• Comprehend customer technical and commercial requirements and translate them into customized Septentrio solutions.
• Promote cross-selling and upselling opportunities within current accounts.
• Assist in expanding Septentrio’s network of manufacturers’ representatives in collaboration with existing channel partners.
• Evaluate, onboard, and oversee representative partners, ensuring consistent follow-up and alignment with business objectives.
• Strengthen partnerships to optimize regional market coverage and revenue potential.
• Facilitate technical support and integration discussions with applications engineers and product specialists.
• Organize customer visits involving product management, R&D, and senior leadership to maximize commercial effectiveness.
• Ensure internal resources are coordinated to support strategic opportunities efficiently.
• Track industry trends, customer demands, and competitor activities to uncover market opportunities and ideas for product enhancement.
• Lead commercial negotiations, pricing discussions, and contract alignments with customers and partners.
• Support the successful advancement of opportunities from qualification through to closing.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
• 5 years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated success in B2B sales within a technically-focused environment.
• Experience in selling positioning, navigation, and timing (PNT), GNSS, inertial navigation, or similar technologies is highly desirable.
• A background in defense, aerospace, robotics, autonomy, construction, mining, or agriculture sectors is a significant advantage.
• Experience managing channel partners, distributors, or manufacturer representatives is highly regarded.
• Strong commercial acumen with the capacity to identify opportunities, foster new business, and close intricate deals.
• Excellent presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
• Strong organizational competence and disciplined management of the CRM pipeline.
• Team-oriented and collaborative, with the capability to work effectively across both technical and commercial domains.
• U.S. citizenship required for clearance eligibility.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of Spanish or Portuguese is a plus.
