This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Implement and leverage consultative sales techniques to achieve the designated annual quota.
• Arrange at least 8–12+ face-to-face meetings or virtual demonstrations each month.
• Travel within the assigned territory 25% of the time and participate in national events throughout the year.
• Oversee the sales process from initial prospecting and cold outreach to product demonstration and final contract negotiation and preparation.
• Provide precise forecasting and manage the sales pipeline effectively.
• Keep detailed records of all sales interactions using Gaggle’s CRM and other tools and applications, such as Salesforce, Slack, and Confluence.
• Collaborate with Customer Success Managers on regional conferences/events for each state in the territory and one national event annually.
• Build and nurture relationships with existing and potential customers.
• Work together with Customer Success Managers on ESC/state contracts and overall territory strategies.
• Prepare quarterly strategic plans with the sales leader to coordinate sales activities in the territory.
• Stay updated on industry trends and current events to spot new sales opportunities.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of Gaggle’s products and services, along with their benefits for customers.
• Adhere to Gaggle’s Core Values.
• Report to the Regional Vice President of Sales.
• Drive revenue by selling Gaggle’s software applications and services to the K–12 education sector.
• Over 5 years of experience in consultative sales, with at least 3 years in the K12 industry.
• Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Proven history of consistently meeting sales quotas.
• Excellent teamwork, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Collaborative, organized, and capable of working independently.
• Willingness to travel extensively; must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work virtually (from home).
• Professional and courteous in handling phone calls and emails to address client inquiries as needed.
