Regional Sales Manager – Service Business Unit

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee and expand the business of an established portfolio of ABEC accounts within a specified region.

• Identify, qualify, develop, and secure new accounts.

• Surpass all activity benchmarks for prospecting, meetings, presentations, proposals, and closed deals.

• Initiate and facilitate the creation of action plans to enhance market share.

• Formulate and execute sales strategies and account plans.

• Collaborate with ABEC business unit managers to identify, cultivate, and finalize opportunities.

• Maintain a strong working relationship with other offices to drive activities and results.

• Schedule sales calls, analyze competitor activities, and coordinate presentations and proposals.

• Provide regular updates on activities, including forecasts and call reports.

• Monitor competitive activities as necessary.

• Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through effective relationship-building efforts.

• Manage expenses to adhere to budgetary guidelines.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or Business, coupled with a proven track record in successful consultative sales, including strategic selling and negotiation.

• Three to five years of experience in sales within the biopharmaceutical manufacturing sector or demonstrated success in outside direct sales using consultative and solution-focused approaches.

• Expertise in one or more of the following sectors: Engineering, manufacturing, biopharmaceuticals.

• Proven success in a fast-paced, competitive, and deadline-driven environment.

• Capability to work cross-functionally within the ABEC organization to achieve desired outcomes.

• At least 2 years of experience using CRM software.

• Familiarity with and previous experience in implementing Continuous Improvement (CI) is an advantage.

• Prior experience with Lean/Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
