This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky, +3 more states.
β’ Lead comprehensive sales initiatives for utility-scale solar and storage projects targeting customers based in the Central Region.
β’ Foster robust relationships with utilities, Independent Power Producers (IPPs), Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) firms, and developers.
β’ Create and implement regional go-to-market strategies.
β’ Collaborate with product and engineering teams to develop tailored solutions.
β’ Assist with technical assessments, proposals, and bidding processes.
β’ Represent Hitachi Energy at significant industry events and forums.
β’ Manage pipeline and forecasting with accuracy.
β’ Establish PCS as a reliable and high-quality solution provider.
β’ Ensure adherence to relevant external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
β’ A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a related discipline; an MBA is advantageous.
β’ 8β12+ years of experience in technical sales or business development within PCS or similar technologies.
β’ Demonstrated success in selling to utilities and IPPs at multimillion-dollar scales.
β’ Strong connections in the utility-scale photovoltaic (PV) and storage sectors.
β’ Experience working in global, matrixed organizations with cross-functional collaboration.
β’ In-depth understanding of power systems and grid interconnection.
β’ Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
β’ Must be willing and able to travel up to 50% for client meetings, site inspections, and industry events.
β’ Candidates must already possess work authorization allowing them to be employed by Hitachi Energy in the United States.
