Regional Sales Manager – Pacific Northwest

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Oversee the overall performance of the designated region within Immunology Sales.

• Lead the sales team by fostering a motivational atmosphere, removing obstacles, nurturing team development, and establishing expectations for compliant success.

• Review, adjust when necessary, and endorse strategically focused, account-specific business plans.

• Ensure that business plans consider local, regional, and national market dynamics affecting product sales.

• Arrange ride-alongs and mentor representatives on product knowledge, call planning, territory management, relationship cultivation, and sales techniques.

• Collaborate with home office staff on marketing strategies, targeting initiatives, incentive programs, and sales training materials.

• Function autonomously within organizational parameters to meet objectives on time.

• Work alongside cross-functional teams to reach milestones and established goals.

• Foster team cohesion and transparent communication among team members and colleagues.

• Actively seek solutions, support colleagues, and collaborate with all departments.

• Propel new business opportunities and strengthen nephrology relationships through consultative, data-informed engagement.

• Manage and monitor the intricate sequencing of referral and shipped product models without open channel distribution.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.

• 3–5 years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotech sales management.

• Preferred therapeutic area experience in Rheumatology, Pulmonology, or Ophthalmology.

• Ability to manage and monitor complex sequencing of referral and shipped product models without open channel distribution.

• Preferred relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) within the geographic area or nationally.

• Proven history of team development, including recruitment, training, motivation, and performance management.

• Strong analytical skills to identify solutions and navigate challenges or obstacles.

• 70% travel requirement.

• Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.

• Capability to work collaboratively as part of a team while demonstrating high integrity and compassion for others.

• Strong communication skills, encompassing active listening and clear expression.

• Valid motor vehicle operator's license.

• Some local travel and overnight travel required, varying by region.

• Ability to drive new business and enhance nephrology relationships through consultative, data-driven engagement.

• Comprehensive understanding of nephrology disease states.

• Awareness of industry trends, economic sectors, and market dynamics.

• Ability to convey information accurately, succinctly, and persuasively to diverse audiences.

• Proficiency in identifying resources and resolving issues using available information and support resources.

• Patient-centric, integrity-driven, innovative, and collaborative mindset.
