This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio, +1 more state.
• Identify, evaluate, and secure valuable accounts with an annual packaging and crating expenditure aligned with Millwood’s strategic growth objectives.
• Enhance market presence by cultivating business relationships and finalizing long-term agreements.
• Recognize industry trends through research and events, proposing potential partnerships by reaching out to prospective collaborators.
• Lead negotiations and finalize impactful agreements by drafting contracts and aligning them with operational strategies.
• Conduct industry research to develop effective sales strategies.
• Market products and services to potential clients.
• Utilize broker partnerships to extend Millwood’s reach in underserved markets.
• Create long-term contracts that promote sustainable, mutually advantageous relationships.
• Collaborate with internal design and engineering teams to create customized packaging and crating solutions.
• Provide local support for National Account customer sites within the designated territory.
• Record all activities in Salesforce.
• Develop competitive pricing structures in line with market trends to maintain margin integrity.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related discipline. (Preferred)
• Over 5 years of experience in an outside sales position.
• Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel within the territory 3-5 days weekly.
• Availability for overnight travel within your territory and attendance at corporate meetings and events, as needed.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM, and Outlook.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and the ability to travel by car and plane.
• Capable of renting transportation when necessary.
• This position is not eligible for relocation.
