This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Cultivate and sustain relationships with travel agencies, tour operators, and online travel platforms across Northern Germany and Northern Europe.
• Develop a business strategy aimed at meeting monthly and quarterly objectives, including expanding existing accounts and exploring new opportunities.
• Deliver exceptional customer service in all circumstances.
• Provide comprehensive training on all G Adventures products.
• Operate with both speed and efficiency, while consistently demonstrating compassion and care in every interaction.
• Address any booking issues calmly and empathetically.
• Differentiate your service to ensure a uniquely G Adventures experience for our partners.
• Engage with our agency partners in person, via phone, Zoom, and email.
• Participate in partner conferences and training events.
• Assist with direct marketing initiatives and consumer shows.
• Pose relevant questions to identify the specific needs of each unique agency.
• Suggest and sell the most suitable trip for each agency's traveler based on their requirements.
• Conduct regular training sessions to keep your agents informed about G Adventures products.
• Present G Adventures products to groups of agents and/or clients ranging from 4 to over 100.
• Organize and adhere to a strategic call plan, ensuring agents receive visits as frequently as necessary.
• Ensure all sales visits are accurately recorded in Salesforce.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all G Adventures products and any changes.
• Be an integral part of G Adventures' vibrant company culture and embody the G Adventures Core Values.
• Serve as the primary problem solver for any booking issues faced by your agents.
• Develop concise marketing plans with partners to drive inquiries and conversions.
• Create a digital roadmap to enhance the visibility of G Adventures products on agents' social media, websites, and digital platforms.
• Essential experience in travel sales on the road.
• Ability to understand and demonstrate professional sales presentation techniques.
• Proven skills in strategic business planning, analysis, and reporting.
• Strong negotiation abilities.
• Advanced interpersonal relationship management skills.
• Effective communication skills in both German and English, both verbal and written.
• Problem-solving and complaint resolution skills focused on enhancing the customer experience.
• Flexible and energetic, with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proficient in navigating and utilizing various computer systems with confidence, speed, and efficiency.
• Understanding and alignment with G Adventures’ Core Values.
• Experience with Salesforce, Slack, Google products, and Zoom is advantageous.
• Willingness to work irregular hours (evenings, weekends, and occasionally early starts to train agents before they open).
• Availability for overnight stays if required (accommodation costs will be covered by G Adventures).
• Valid driver's license.
• Domestic and international travel is a component of this role.
• Ideally based in the sales area of Northern Germany/Northern Europe.
