This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• New Business Acquisition: Identify, qualify, and secure opportunities among OEMs, integrators, dealers, distributors, and end-users, while developing a pipeline that aligns with territory objectives.
• Application-Focused Solution Selling: Demonstrate SCHUNK’s value proposition (quality, reliability, productivity improvements) through demonstrations and technical discussions; redefine pricing in terms of ROI with quantifiable results.
• Specification & Channel Development: Achieve SCHUNK specifications on new constructions by collaborating with machine builders, dealers, and system integrators; inspire and empower distribution partners.
• CRM Discipline & Reporting: Keep precise records of opportunities, visit reports, quotations, and follow-ups in SAP C4C; utilize sales reports to track progress and inform annual and strategic planning.
• Internal Collaboration: Work closely with Product Managers, Inside Sales, and Marketing; create polished proposals and materials that reflect SCHUNK’s exacting craftsmanship standards.
• Client Engagement & Travel: Conduct site visits, product demonstrations, and participate in trade shows; ensure a professional follow-up and clear next steps after every engagement.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent technical sales experience.
• Over 5 years of experience in manufacturing, machining, or industrial automation sales with a successful track record in new business development.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities; proficiency with CRM systems (SAP C4C) and virtual collaboration tools.
• Capacity to manage multiple priorities and maintain disciplined coverage of territory; willingness to travel up to 50%.
