This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.
• Guide, mentor, and enhance the skills of Territory Managers through regular in-field engagement (~60% travel), continual feedback, role-playing exercises, and practical sales training to ensure effective performance and skill enhancement.
• Take ownership of regional revenue outcomes by promoting consistent activity, aiding both new sales and account growth, and ensuring Territory Managers achieve their input and output targets.
• Uphold exceptional Salesforce data management and forecasting, conducting weekly pipeline reviews, ensuring data accuracy, and providing support on deal structuring, escalations, and key opportunities.
• Act as the regional representative, communicating customer insights, product feedback, and operational challenges to teams in Product, Engineering, Marketing, Customer Support, and senior leadership.
• Adapt national strategies into actionable regional plans, facilitate lightweight team meetings (1:1s, check-ins), and collaborate closely with U.S. commercial leadership on performance metrics and priorities.
• Recruit and cultivate top talent, assisting in the expansion of Territory Manager teams as Halter experiences significant growth across the U.S.
• Proven Frontline Sales Leadership: Demonstrated experience in leading and developing field sales representatives, preferably in fast-paced or high-growth settings, with a history of coaching representatives to enhance performance consistently.
• Hands-On, Field-First Approach: Comfortable being on the road most of the time—participating in customer interactions, demonstrating best practices, and remaining closely connected to real-world customer issues.
• Proficiency in Sales Process & Methodology: Strong knowledge of contemporary sales practices (e.g., consultative/challenger sales models, role-playing, discovery techniques) and the capability to coach Territory Managers in mastering these skills.
• Discipline in Pipeline, Salesforce, & Forecasting: Strong operational discipline with CRM data management, pipeline oversight, input metrics, and forecasting accuracy—particularly crucial in a hardware + software context.
