
Regional Sales Manager – Minka

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +5 more states.
• Formulate and execute regional sales strategies aimed at meeting or surpassing revenue objectives for Minka Lighting and Aire.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with targeted key accounts, including Ferguson, to achieve desired outcomes within the region.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities with Ferguson, independent showrooms, builders, and project houses.
• Propel specification and project-based sales across both commercial and residential sectors.
• Manage and enhance downstream relationships with essential lighting showrooms and distribution partners.
• Collaborate closely with Ferguson OPCO Sales Managers and Own Brand business leaders to foster alignment, growth, and execution within the region.
• Negotiate pricing, programs, and contracts to boost profitability and market presence.
• Lead, mentor, and support independent lighting sales agencies throughout the region.
• Conduct regular field visits, joint sales calls, and performance assessments with agency partners.
• Monitor and manage project pipelines from specification to order fulfillment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of sales experience, ideally in the lighting, electrical, or building products sector.
• Extensive experience in driving sales growth and executing business plans through representative agency partners.
• Demonstrated success in managing territories and meeting revenue targets.
• Experience collaborating with Ferguson, lighting showrooms, sales agencies, and in specification-driven sales.
• Established relationships within the builder, contractor, or designer community are preferred.
• Strong grasp of project-based and channel sales dynamics.
• Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned region.
• Comprehensive understanding of lighting channels (showroom, specification, and builder).
• Experience in agency leadership and channel management.
• Sales methodology focused on building robust connections.
