This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Oversee the entire sales process, from initial prospecting to final closure, with an emphasis on capital equipment.
• Discover and develop new business avenues within the academic, biotech, and pharmaceutical industries.
• Carry out on-site meetings, demonstrations, and presentations throughout the Pacific Northwest, with over 50% travel anticipated.
• Comprehend customer scientific projects and business objectives to effectively position Stellaromics’ solutions.
• Utilize extensive product knowledge to deliver sales presentations and support sales of instruments and reagents.
• Create and implement territory sales strategies, leveraging market insights and customer feedback to enhance approaches.
• Maintain effective communication with internal teams and external partners, collecting customer insights to guide product development and innovation.
• Collaborate closely with marketing, R&D, and field teams to boost customer success and promote product adoption.
• Actively investigate new technology applications to widen market presence in a developing field.
• Forge relationships with core facilities and key decision-makers to elevate awareness and engagement.
• Represent Stellaromics in a professional, ethical, and responsible manner, ensuring outstanding customer experiences and fostering long-term partnerships.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in life sciences sales, particularly in capital equipment and fee-for-service sales.
• A proactive prospecting approach, demonstrating success in territory planning, pipeline management, and deal closure.
• Technical knowledge in genomics, spatial biology, and/or imaging technologies.
• Experience in selling to academic, biotech, and pharmaceutical clients, engaging with scientists, core facilities, and procurement teams.
• Proficiency in CRM and AI tools for sales operations and reporting purposes.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills for conducting scientific demonstrations and seminars.
