This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Oversee the entire sales process, from identifying prospects to finalizing deals, with an emphasis on capital equipment.
• Discover and nurture new business prospects within academic, biotech, and pharmaceutical industries.
• Conduct on-site meetings, demonstrations, and presentations throughout the Pacific Northwest, with expected travel exceeding 50%.
• Grasp customers' scientific projects and business requirements to effectively position Stellaromics’ offerings.
• Utilize extensive product knowledge to deliver sales presentations and assist in instrument and reagent sales.
• Create and implement sales strategies for the territory, leveraging market insights and customer feedback to enhance approaches.
• Maintain effective communication with internal teams and external partners, collecting customer insights to guide product development and innovation.
• Collaborate closely with marketing, R&D, and field teams to improve customer satisfaction and promote adoption.
• Actively investigate new technological applications and broaden market presence within an emerging field.
• Establish relationships with core facilities and key decision-makers to boost awareness and engagement.
• Represent Stellaromics in a professional, ethical, and responsible manner, ensuring outstanding customer experiences and fostering long-term partnerships.
• More than 5 years of sales experience in life sciences, specifically in capital equipment and fee-for-service sales.
• A proactive prospecting approach, demonstrating success in territory planning, pipeline management, and deal closures.
• Technical proficiency in genomics, spatial biology, and/or imaging technologies.
• Proven experience in selling to academic, biotech, and pharmaceutical clients, engaging with scientists, core facilities, and procurement teams.
• Competence in utilizing CRM and AI tools for sales operations and reporting purposes.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills for scientific demonstrations and seminars.
