This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland, +1 more state.
• Drive and implement the regional sales strategy to meet sales, revenue, and profitability objectives
• Oversee, mentor, and cultivate a high-performing sales team
• Efficiently activate and manage large, intricate contracts within Distribution and Non-Commercial sectors
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales Planning, Business Partnering, Marketing, Customer Service, and other internal departments
• Supervise regional forecasting, sales activity metrics, pipeline oversight, and performance analysis
• Build and sustain robust, strategic relationships with distributors, commercial and non-commercial operators, and channel partners
• Recognize growth prospects, evaluate risks, and modify plans to ensure consistent results
• Guarantee effective planning and deployment of trade expenditure to optimize return on investment
• Act as a people manager, responsible for the overall growth, direction, coordination, and assessment of the regional sales team
• Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from an accredited four-year institution
• Over 8 years of relevant sales and leadership experience and/or training
• Strategic perspective paired with strong execution and operational rigor
• Solid financial acumen with experience in managing sales outcomes and profit and loss (P&L) statements
• Proven leadership capabilities and strong interpersonal skills
• Established ability to influence behaviors and decisions across various functions
• Capacity to lead a geographically diverse team while managing competing priorities and unforeseen demands
• Exceptional verbal and written communication, facilitation, presentation, and organizational skills
• Strong skills in group presentations
• Willingness to travel frequently (up to 50–60%); occasional weekend travel may be necessary
