This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Lead and manage field reports throughout the sales process.
• Create and propose sales and marketing initiatives while establishing both short- and long-term sales strategies.
• Develop and implement programs for sales and customer retention to enhance sales performance, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
• Plan, forecast, and report on sales activities and competitive pricing strategies.
• Oversee the daily operations of sales representatives.
• Define the sales process and formulate effective, innovative sales strategies to achieve targeted sales outcomes.
• Analyze and generate reports using Salesforce to pinpoint opportunities for sales and revenue growth within designated territories.
• Establish sales processes that promote desired sales results and expand market share within the assigned territory.
• Drive supplier engagement initiatives by offering product training opportunities for Account Managers.
• Sales management professional with recent experience in a leadership role.
• Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to manage the existing customer base.
• Collaborate effectively with team members, internal stakeholders, and vendors.
• Knowledge of MRO and Jan/San products.
• Familiarity with Salesforce CRM.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Maintain a positive attitude and the ability to navigate through challenging situations while staying focused.
• Capable of managing and prioritizing multiple projects, requests, and situations.
• Typically requires a BS/BA degree in a related field.
• Generally requires 7+ years of experience in a related area.
• Certification may be required.
