This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Direct, mentor, and assist Area Sales Managers and/or personnel from regional offices to meet territory and account goals.
• Oversee strategic regional accounts to enhance profitable sales opportunities and boost market presence.
• Manage and coordinate order-related documentation and workflows to ensure precise production and timely shipping that align with customer expectations.
• Prepare and submit price deviations as necessary, ensuring adherence to relevant competition laws and internal approval processes.
• Relay changes in customer requirements (such as lead times, order sizes, and product modifications) to internal teams and clients to facilitate proactive planning.
• Assist with receivables collection efforts and maintain precise logs for orders, inventory (where applicable), and delivery timelines.
• Generate sales forecasts by customer across Winpak product ranges; oversee sales expense budgets and guarantee accurate, prompt expense reporting.
• Keep track of competitor activities and provide timely insights on market capabilities and trends; represent Winpak at trade shows and seminars as necessary.
• Foster teamwork and cross-departmental collaboration while executing responsibilities in accordance with ISO 9001 standards and Winpak policies.
• Carry out other assigned duties.
• A Bachelor’s degree (or an equivalent mix of education and experience) is considered an asset.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in national account sales.
• At least 5 years of experience in packaging (technical and/or commercial) with an emphasis on strategic sales growth.
• Proven ability to expand business within large, complex customer organizations and cultivate strong customer relationships.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the capacity to influence both internal and external stakeholders.
• A history of meeting KPIs and achieving sales targets.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
• Willingness to travel 50% or more is mandatory.
